Casa Numero 7 was in a good location - within walking distance of major points of interest. It was very clean and well decorated. I think we might have been the only ones staying there as it was very quiet and we didn't see anyone else. It isn't like a big hotel. It reminded me of a pensione you would find in Italy.
It is on a very quiet and is only distinguished from the other large wooden doors on the street by a small sign that says Casa Numero 7. We arrived before 9 a.m. and the doors were locked - no handles on the doors - no windows. We were worried that we had the wrong place. We tried calling their number on our cell phone but it wouldn't connect. We ended up asking a Spanish couple to help us. They were able to get someone from the hotel on their phone and he opened the doors for us. Turns out they don't open their front doors until 9:00 a.m. and close them at 11:00 so you feel like you have a curfew.
Such a beautiful small hotel. So very peaceful.Room was superb(we had the red room),and bathroom was superb ,double basins,& bath with shower over was ideal.Being served breakfast by the Butler was so colonial.
The staff were exceptionally helpful. It was particularly well situated for walking about Seville. I would never try to drive to it because the old part of Seville in which it is situated is like a rabbit warren with very very narrow streets however it is beautifully situated if you like wandering about and absorbing Spanish lifestyle
Casa Numero 7 felt more like visiting a wealthy Sevillano relative than a hotel stay. We were greeted and treated warmly and well throughout our stay.It began with tea in a second floor parlor that we never wanted to leave. The artwork on all of the walls of the common areas alone is worth a visit. The mansion is an exquisite home near to everything in Sevilla. Breakfasts were delicious and served late enough to actually enjoy them when living the late night Spanish way. Our first floor room was charming and quiet and our bathroom was remarkable. Stay there while in Sevilla.
Our 3 night stay wasn't long enough.
Perfect loaction, brilliant breakfast, quiet which was important in a city that lives outside!
Outstanding location in a very small renovated townhouse; under family management - friendly, helpful and very professional. Breakfast is excellent.
Secluded and traditional in a true Seville flavour. Family owned and run, a lovely style and ethos, in a very relaxed and homely nature. Excellent service. Great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble: strongly recommended and we'd certainly use again.
Staying at Casa Numero 7 felt like staying in someone's private house. It was a completey relaxing experience and an oasis of calm. Having a friendly "butler" to serve breakfast was a very luxurious treat.
This was a wonderful place to stay, if a bit hard to find. It is very private, very comfortable, and very elegant. But the best part is the helpfulness and the friendliness of the staff. They seemed to anticipate your every need and were very thoughtful with their recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. We had a wonderful, very personal experience, and we will be sure to stay there again, if we return to Seville.
A little difficult to find, and the street is narrow and sometimes closed.
Lovely room and decor, comfortable bed, nice view from rooftop terrace, quiet central location very convenient for exploration of the city on foot.
Most inconvenient if you drive into Sevilla, you must use a municipal garage far enough away that you worry you won´t find your way back on foot to the hotel through the winding streets of the old village. Easy enough after a day, but not so driving into the city afresh. I got the very last space in this garage, and have no idea what I could have done had that space been unavailable, Fairly expensive considering what you don´t get--in room fridge, afternoon tea or other complimentary beverages in the lounge, or more than one choice for hot breakfast.
The staff went the extra mile to make us welcome even e-mailing before we set off to check when we were likely to arrive. The location was good for access to shops and restaurants and the hotel really did live up to its reputation of being a peaceful haven. Our room was clean and spacious, nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable.
We struggled to find anything lacking. The ability to get tea or coffee at any time in our own room or the lounge would have been a real bonus.
Centrale lokatie, mooie kamers, smaakvol ingericht
Heel erg onpersoonlijk.
